Slide and Transparency Scanning
35mm Mounted Slides
Let us preserve your 35mm mounted color slides onto digital CDs. Slides are scanned at 2000 dpi which outputs at 500dpi @ 4x6 (2000x3000 pixels, 6MP equivalent). Higher resolutions are available at double the cost and are scanned at 3500 DPI (3333x5000 pixels, 16MP equivalent)

The professional quality scans include a free photographic index print (contact sheet). You can easily order additional photographic prints at the time the order is placed. We color and density correct and enhance each image using Digital ICE. (Note: Digital ICE cannot be used with B&W or Kodachrome slides. These slides will be scanned without Digital ICE. Kodachrome slide film uses a unique dye that responds differently from other slide films. Due to the nature of the dye and the Kodachrome film development process, Digital ICE can misinterpret certain image detail as a defect.)
Packaging Instructions: If your slides are in carousels, slide boxes, or sleeves you may leave the slides in them for easy shipping. If your slides are loose slides, we recommend grouping them in batches of about 50 and rubber banding them together to prevent damage during shipping and will keep them orgainized. Place in a box with lots of padding so they don't slide around to prevent scratching and enclose the order form.
We can scan single cut, strip cut or full rolls of medium format. Pricing for single cut or cut rolls are the same as our 35mm mounted slide scanning, as noted above. Full, uncut rolls of 120 or 220 transparency film is $14.95 per roll. As with standard 35mm mounted slides, all scans are processed with Digial ICE to color correct and remove dust and scratches that may be present. All scans for medium format are output at 500 dpi. You can easily order additional photographic prints at the time the order is placed.
